The former top cop seeks from the Supreme Court a direction to the CBI to act on his representation against the alleged threats made by the Maharashtra government's inquiry officer.

The former Mumbai Police chief said the Maharashtra Government wants him to withdraw the complaint he had made against former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Since he isn't doing so, they are out to frame him in conspiracies, he said in his plea to the Supreme Court.
