The Uttarakhand High Court dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed assailing the part of the Notification dated01.09.2021, by which Village Saliyer Salhapur, TehsilRoorkee, District Haridwar, was included in the proposedNagar Panchayat.

Chhattisgarh High Court division bench while considering the PIL  , observed that the petition is filed on 13.05.2022 after more than 3 years of completion of hotel and from 5 years of beginning of the construction, and therefore, the Court was  not inclined to interfere with the petition.
