The Government of Tripura under a notification dated 13th July, 2018 has framed New Defined Contributory Pension Scheme which would be applicable to all those who joined the State Government service on or after 1st July, 2018.

The Counter affidavit has been filed in Supreme Court by Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police according which in March , 2020 , the COVID - 19 virus began spreading across the country and the Government of India as well as State Governments imposed Lockdown and other restrictions to control its spread .

The Supreme Court of India heard the Solicitor general today to assess the measures, policy and actions taken by the Central government with respect to the acquiring and administering the COVID19 vaccines. The matter is of the Suo Moto cognizance taken by the Supreme Court by virtue of which the National Task Force was set up.

The application is filed by Anjali Bhardwaj Bhardwaj, a senior transparency and accountability activist in the country, through Senior Counsel Prashant Bhushan.

The Jharkhand High Court on Thursday heard the State Assembly Speaker's Tribunal plea challenging the High Court's stay of its notice to BJP legislature party leader Babulal Marandi.

The High Court had to determine if the Speaker can take suo motu cognizance under paragraph 6 of the Tenth Schedule and if the Court can exercise its power under Article 226 to grant interim relief in a matter connected with paragraph 6, Tenth Schedule.
