New Delhi (ILNS): The Bar Council of India has decided to extend the deadline for submission of details of all practicing advocates enrolled with their respective State Bar Councils as per the requirement of the E-Committee of the Supreme Court of India.

The Supreme Court has extended the tenure of Prem Narain, a non-judicial member of the National Consumer Disputes Resolution Commission (NCDRC), by two months.

A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging section 3 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 and Section 7 of the IBC and to set out new conditions for real estate allottees to approach the NCLT as being in violation of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution.
