The President of India Ram Nath Kovind has appointed four judges to the Delhi High Court, a notification by the Ministry of Law and Justice said.
The notification said “Jyoti Singh, Prateek Jalan, Anup Jairam Bhambhani and Sanjeev Narula were appointed Judges of the Delhi High Court in that order of seniority with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices”.
It is to be noted that Delhi High Court is functioning with half of its sanctioned strength. This was noted by one of the Delhi HC judges in his farewell speech when he got retired recently.
