It was the list of people arrested was put up only outside 2 PCR rooms, whereas, all of the PCR are supposed to put up the list, Ms. Narula stated while talking to India Legal.
The application also sought directions to the Delhi Police to provide the copies of FIR, remand application, orders of Remand and grounds of arrest and copy of charge-sheets through email/ whatsapp/ post to the families and counsels of the accused persons.
“The list of people arrested in the matter have been uploaded online whereas, the same does not match with our list”, Ms. Narula said.
The people arrested are not being provided with transparent access to justice.
She also stated that there have been several directions of the courts to follow the provision under section 41 of the Criminal Procedure Code but there is still no effective compliance of the orders by the authorities.
