Mathura court agrees to hear plea for videography of Shahi Idgah mosque

On the similar grounds of the Gyanvapi mosque survey in Varanasi a plea  was filed in a local court in Mathura ( Uttar Pradesh) asking for the survey of another mosque which shares some area with the Krishna Janambhoomi which was  agreed .

A local court in Mathura has agreed to hear a similar plea, of seeking videography of the Shahi Idgah  mosque lies adjacent to Krishna Janmabhoomi.

The petitioners have sought the appointment of an advocate commissioner requesting him to conduct the video survey of the Shahi Idgah mosque premises .

According to the petition, it has been claimed that the Shahi Idgah mosque was made after demolishing some part of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple.

The petition demands removal of the mosque so that the land of the temple is returned which is close to 13.37 acres returned

 The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High court on May 13 had directed the Mathura court to dispose of all the cases related to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah mosque dispute within a span of four weeks.

Allahabad High Court said that court May issue ex-parte orders  if the Sunni Waqf Board and other parties do not get  involved in the hearing or of they come to know that  attempts were made to hang the matter.

The district judge has reserved the decision on a plea over the matter.
