Delhi HC directs Centre, Delhi govt to file report on installation of Oxygen plants

The GNCTD and the Union of India have been directed to file the report in this regard by coming Thursday.

The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed both the Central government and the Delhi government to file a report by May 27 on the installation of PSA Plants for oxygen generation.

The bench of Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Jasmeet Singh, while hearing petitions on Covid-related matters said, “The position, as it appears today, is that most of the plants are yet to be installed and made operational. Installation of plants sourced from Indian manufacturers should be prioritised.”

“We direct both the GNCTD and the Union of India to file report in this regard by coming Thursday. We are of the view that if not already done, they should appoint a senior officer to monitor the installation of PSA Plants in Delhi.
