Uttarakhand High Court dismisses PIL alleging irregularities on teaching and non-teaching apointments in Inter College

The Uttarakhand High Court dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed alleging that number of irregularities were committed, while making appointments on teaching and non-teaching posts in CMD Inter College Chudiyala,  Haridwar.

The State Counsel pointed out that  appointments were made in the said Institution in the year 2014, and petitioner has approached the Court  after nine years.

The Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari and Justice  Vivek Bharti Sharma was not inclined to interfere in the matter, as, primarily, petitioner has raised a service dispute in a Public Interest Litigation, which is not permissible.

The Beach accordingly, dismissed the Public Interest Litigation.

However, Court granted liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievances.
