The Patiala House Court on Monday (March 5) granted bail to Lalu Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti and her husband Shailesh Kumar in the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) case.

The special judge Arvind Kumar granted the bail on the surety of Rs 2 lakh. The bail was granted also on the condition that the couple would not leave the country without court’s permission.

During the course of proceedings, Enforcement Directorate (ED) submitted to the Court that the couple had committed very serious offence but still court have granted them bail.

The Court listed the matter for next hearing to March 31, 2018.
