SCBA to begin Covid vaccination from May 17

The SCBA requests everyone to be patient as right now, there are only 50 doses as there is shortage right now and once the doses are increased by Delhi Government, the numbers will be increased.

The Supreme Court Bar Association is beginning Covid vaccinations for members and their immediate family members in the 18 to 45 age group in from May 17, Monday, at the Supreme Court. Vaccination will be available from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 1 pm.

This vaccination would be given to a maximum 50 persons in a day. Members interested may give their names, age and SCBA membership number by email to scbavac2021@gmail.com. The SCBA office will send a message a day before on first come first serve basis on the basis of names given in SCBA office and those members who get a message a day before can come for the vaccination.

The SCBA requests everyone to be patient as right now, there are only 50 doses as there is shortage right now and once the doses are increased by Delhi Government, the numbers will be increased. The vaccine being given is Covishield. Members have to bring their Aadhaar cards when they come for vaccination and wear double mask for their own safety and the safety of others.

Members are requested not to come on an empty stomach and eat proper breakfast or lunch depending on the time they are coming for vaccination.

The SCBA said it doesn’t have the facilities of a full-fledged hospital and requested members, who are suffering any ailment or have recovered from Covid, to consult their doctors before coming for Covid vaccination.
