The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Wednesday expressed concern over the current situation in Manipur, which has witnessed ethnic clashes between the non-tribal Meitei community and tribal Kuki community.
As per a statement issued by the organisation, the Executive Committee of SCBA, in its meeting held today, unanimously expressed its concern with the recent incidents of violence in Manipur and expressed its solidarity with the victims of violence.
It said the SCBA was in touch with the High Court Bar Association of Manipur and would extend financial assistance as and when required.
