A single-judge bench of Allahabad High Court while hearing a Criminal Misc Anticipatory Bail Application under Sections 438 CrPC filed by Rahul Gandhi said that arrest should be made only if it is necessary for interrogation in police custody for investigation. 

A single-judge bench of Allahabad High Court while hearing a Criminal Appeal filed by Jagveer Singh Alias Bantu held that separating wife from his own life could not be a reason which could come under the category of the abetment.

Allahabad High Court division bench while hearing a Criminal Misc Writ Petition filed by Shiv Prasad Gupta sought the Uttar Pradesh Government's response on the 'misuse' of Law while hearing a case wherein a show-cause notice had been served to a man under the Uttar Pradesh Control of Goondas Act, 1970.

Anil Kumar was arrested for the offense under IPC Sections 498a, 304 b, and provisions of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The Supreme Court has now granted him bail.

The Court has directed that the applicants shall be tried for offences under Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The Allahabad High Court recently granted bail to one Alok Shukla of Jaunpur, who is accused of dowry murder and harassment.

During the pendency of the criminal appeal, the parties have entered into a compromise and they decided to live happily as husband and wife under one roof with their minor son Shiva, aged about 18 years.
