The Supreme Court today adjourned till September 9 the plea filed by GHCAA President Yatin Oza against the Gujarat High Court’s decision to withdraw his senior designation.

The Gujarat High Court has dismissed an intervention application in the suo motu contempt case against Gujarat High Court Advocates’ Association (GHAA) president Yatin Oza. The court has taken suo motu cognizance of the case as criminal contempt.

Gujarat HC has issued a criminal contempt notice to Senior Advocate Mr Yatin Oza, President, GHCAA for making serious allegations against the High Court Administration and Registry terming the institution as a ‘Gambling Den’ and an institute which caters only litigants with means and money power.

The Gujarat High Court Advocate Association’s President has written a letter addressing to the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court urging him to resume physical hearing as the Junior Advocates, Non-VIP clients struggle to get their urgent matters listed.

The President of the Gujarat High Court Advocates Association (GHCAA) Mr Yatin Oza in a letter addressed to the Chief Justice Vikram Nath has requested to resume physical functioning of the Court.
