Justice N.V. Ramana

The Supreme Court Bar Association on Tuesday organised a Covid-19 vaccination camp to inoculate its members and their families, and judicial staff at the Delhi Government Health Centre in the Apex Court premises.

In an important ruling the Supreme Court Judge, Justice N.V. Ramana has explained the importance of determining notional income for homemakers including grant of future prospects, for the purpose of grant of compensation in Motor Vehicle accident cases.

There are a few months to go before Justice N.V. Ramana will take over as India’s 48th Chief Justice. That is the trajectory of the senior most puisne Judge of the Supreme Court of India as per convention and judicial precedent.

A campaign to empower women was launched today by Justice N.V. Ramana, judge Supreme Court of India and also the Executive Chairman, National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
