The Supreme Court on Tuesday deferred its order in the interim bail petition of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested for his alleged involvement in the Delhi liquor policy scam case.
The Apex Court is likely to hear the matter on May 9.
Earlier in the day, the top court of the country said that even if it granted interim bail to Kejriwal, he would not be able to function as the Chief Minister as it will have a 'cascading effect' on other issues.
