The Supreme Court has issued a new roster to be effective after the court re-opens on July 1.

According to the new roster, the PIL matters will now be heard by the benches headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justices SA Bobde, NV Ramana, Arun Mishra and Rohinton Fali Nariman.

The new roster also made changes in the election matters. Election matters which used to be heard only by benches led by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi will now be shared by the benches headed by Justice Bobde.

Justices MM Shantanagoudar and S Abdul Nazeer will now head benches at the apex court as per the new roster.
