Centre appoints 14 judges, 5 additional judges to six High Courts, Telangana HC gets 10 judges

The Central government on Wednesday notified the appointment of 14 judges and 5 additional judges to 6 High Courts.

Judicial officers Poonam A. Bamba and Swarana Kanta Sharma have been appointed as judges of the Delhi High Court. Advocates Rajiv Roy and Harish Kumar have been appointed as judges of the Patna High Court. Ten judges have been appointed in the Telangana High Court, five of them are Advocates: Kasoju Surendhar alias K. Surender, Surepalli Nanda, Mummineni Sudheer Kumar, Juvvadi Sridevi alias Kuchadi Sridevi, and Natcharaju Shravan Kumar Venkat; and five judicial officers: Gunnu Anupama Chakravarthy, Maturi Girija Priyadarsini alias Priyadarshini, Sambasivarao Naidu, Anugu Santhosh Reddy and Dr. Devaraju Nagarjun.

Additional judges

The Centre notified the appointment of Advocates Rahul Bharti, and Moksha Khajuria Kazmi to be Additional Judges of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh for a period of two years.

Advocates Nidumolu Mala and S. Sounthar have been appointed Additional Judges of the Madras High Court.

Judicial officer Umesh Chandra Sharma has been appointed as an Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court.
