Following the strict stand of the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court, the police have recovered the kidnapped 15-year-old girl.  On Thursday, the police produced the girl in the court after which the court ordered to hand over the girl to the custody of her mother.

A man and his wife filed the petition in Delhi High Court seeking required protection and safety from the father and brother of his wife.

The woman said she wants to marry her Muslim friend but her family wants to marry her off to another Hindu man. The Delhi High Court issued notice to the Delhi Government, the Commissioner of Police, and the concerned SHO. She wanted protection from her parents as she feared she maybe killed by them.

The Court ordered that till the next date of hearing Shiv Prasad and Ramdhari in the case, will be released forthwith by the Station House Officer of the police station concerned, on their furnishing personal bond of Rs 50,000 with few conditions.
