Senior Advocate, Siddharth Luthra mentioned the matter of plea seeking virtual court hearings to be declared a fundamental right for litigants before the Supreme Court bench.

The Supreme Court Bar Association elections were held today. Members of the SCBA voted for their choice of president, vice-president, honorary secretary, joint secretary, treasurer, senior executive members and executive members.

The final list of SCBA elections contesting candidates was put out by the Election Committee chaired by Senior Advocate Jaideep Gupta.

Supreme Court bench had sought the response from both its administrative wing, as well as the Centre on Judicial Vista case.
