The Bombay High Court on November 27, disapproves a Collector's order allowing a congregation of 200 people for an event hosted by the Serva Sewa Sangh amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Court said that they believe that 'those caught without masks should be sent 10-15 days to do non-medical service at Covid Care Center along with their penalties instead of being released after the punishment. If strict rules are brought, people will follow the rule of wearing masks.

The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change has amended the 2006 Environment Impact Assessment notification while taking into account the outbreak of Covid-19 epidemic.
